The newly elected Mayor of Mohali Municipal Corporation Mr. Amarjit Singh Jeeti Sidhu gave green signal to the development works of more than Rs. 1 crore in the Phase-9 market in a series of continuous development works from the day he took charge as Mayor. Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi, Councilor Kamaljit Singh Bunny, Councilor Namrata Dhillon were specially present on the occasion. Inaugurating them in the Phase-9 market, Mayor Jeeti Sidhu said that not only complete red stone would be laid in this market but also a good railing would be installed in front of the entire market. He said that in the rest of the markets this work has almost been completed but this market of Phase-9 was left and now the work has been started.Mayor Jeeti Sidhu said that his team has been working with full transparency and carrying out development work as per the suggestions and opinions of the people of Mohali. He said that the people of Mohali have given him a huge responsibility by electing him as the Mayor and he would make every effort to fulfill this responsibility. Mayor Jeeti Sidhu said that no delay would be tolerated in the development works and no compromise would be made with the quality of the work. He said that in this regard the officials of the corporation have been urged to ensure the smooth running of their respective works so that the work could be carried out properly and the funds could be utilized properly.Among others present on the occasion were SDO Sukhwinder Singh, Inderjit Singh Dhillon, Ashok Kumar, Manoj Makar, Anil Anand, Hardev Singh Rana, Harpreet Singh, Ajit Singh president Gurdwara Sahib, Hardev Singh Rana, Sekhon Ji and other dignitaries.
