Reaffirming the resolve of the Commission to curb corruption with tooth and nail, the Chief Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) has said that no official will be allowed to apply their own yardstick in disposing of corruption related cases pending with them for action.Seeking cooperation in eradicating menace of corruption, CVC said the objective of the Government to provide corruption free administration to the people. He said the Commission has decided to process legally against those Government officials responsible for shelving corruption related cases without any reasonable justification.The Commission observed that lackadaisical attitude is being adopted by some officers in taking action in the corruption related cases referred to them by Vigilance Organization and DVOs.As per the available data, 1831 complaints and enquiries, 92 Regular Departmental Actions (RDAs) of different nature, are pending with the department for action.
