Harmanbir Singh Gill, Senior Superintendent of Police Moga inaugurated the CSD canteen for the police employees serving in district police and the general public at his office today. People can buy groceries for daily use at reasonable rates here.At the inaugural function, Mr Gill told that the main aim of opening this canteen is to provide the groceries at a reasonable rate to the families of police employees and the general public. The quality domestic products are available at cheaper rates in this canteen. The customers will get a maximum discount on the items. There are a hundred types of items are already available in this canteen which will be further increased to maximum numbers in the coming days. The trained staff has been deputed to help the buyers.

He further told that this canteen is fully air-conditioned where the buyers will also get the computerised bill. Moreover, Verka products would also be available in this canteen. Before this, This canteen was successfully running at Police Lines Moga. Now, it has been shifted here to benefit more customers. He informed that HDFC bank would start its ATM shortly here, so that police employee could draw their salaries while coming to district headquarters.Mr Gill said Punjab police is doing all the required efforts for the welfare of its employees and the safety of citizens. This canteen should also be looked upon as a new step in the same direction. On this occasion, All Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police and police employees were also present.
