Social organization, ‘Ekata Manch’ successfully organized a huge ‘Kerala Flood Relief Rally’ on Saturday, 1st September 2018. The rally showed the strength of unity to provide aid to the distressed. The religious guru of Versova’s temple, mosque, gurudwara also participated in this rally. This rally was organized by College of Commerce, Children Welfare Centre High School, Lions Club Bombay Oceanic and other institute in association with social organization ‘Ekata Manch’ and its General Secretary Shri Ajay Kaul had arranged it at Welfare Centre High School Ground, Yari Road, Versova, Andheri (West), Mumbai-400 061. Many children too with other stalwarts and renowned personalities made their presence felt and made it a successful affair.On the occasion Shri Ajay Kaul, General Secretary of social organization, ‘Ekata Manch’ said, “We bond with our families, neighbors and friends together in happiness and grief and join them in any occasion. Just like that we have to understand that the people of our country too are like a family. In the time of distress, we all should unite and help them. The flood affected people of Kerala require your support and that each and everyone should come forward and make whatever contributions for the victims of this calamity.” Shri. Prashant Kashid, Executive Chairman of Welfare Centre High School thanked to all those who were present. He further informed that they will be collecting all the basic necessities on 9th September, 2018. He said, “Anyone desirous of helping and donating towards the same can do so on this date at Children Welfare Centre High School Ground, Yari Road, Versova, Andheri (West), Mumbai-400 061.”
