Zonal president of Student Organisation of India (SOI) Meetpal Singh Dugri challenged Independent MLA Simarjeet Singh Bains to contest elections as an Independent candidate.Meetpal Singh Dugri said that Bains brothers have lost their political grounds and now approaching Congress or Aam Aadmi Party for support.Meetpal Dugri was addressing the public rally in the area of MLA Bains. He said that during last elections MLA Bains has won the elections by promising the people of Atam Nagar constituency that he will never join any political party. Now, Bains brothers were approaching different political parties to provide them support for upcoming elections.
While addressing the gathering Meetpal Singh Dugri said that this time people will not get attracted by the politics of Bains brothers and the candidate of Shiromani Akali Dal will win the elections from Atam Nagar constituency.Meetpal Singh further said that SOI will propagate the policies, development works of the government and will play crucial role on forming Shiromani Akali Dal government third time in 2017.Meanwhile Meetpal Singh Dugri accompanied by PrabhJot Dhaliwal ,SahibJot Singh Chawla and Raja Kang appointed Prithpal Singh Dhiman as president of ward no.65 of Student Organisation of India.Prominent among those present on the Occasion were Nirmal singh ss,Gurdeep s gosha,Raja kang,Jagir singh, Kuldeep s Dhiman,Amarjot singh,Fateh singh,Jagdeep Matharoo ,Shivay,Boparia,Swarn singh ,Gurmeet singh besides several others.
