Senior National conference Leader and Member Legislative Council, Poonch , Dr Shehnaz Ganai today demanded availability of adequate quantity of essentials at CAPD sale outlets in the remote and border villages of Poonch District. Dr Ganai urged the government to ensure that the required stock of Ration, fire wood and kerosene oil in the border district Poonch is made available, so that people get hassel free and timely supplies. Dr Ganai who visited various parts of the Havelli Constituency to check the stock and availability of supplies of essential items and other arrangements for the winter season was apprised by the people that sufficient supply of Ration, fire wood and kerosene oil is not available in several parts of the district whereas winter season has already set on. She immediately convened a meeting of CAPD officials and directed them to ensure adequate availability of Atta, rice, sugar and other essential commodities in all parts of Border District of Poonch. She also impressed upon the officers to personally monitor the ration supply to far-flung and remote areas so that the poor people living in these areas get hassal free supply.
Dr Ganai also directed PDD authorities to ensure scheduled power supply to the consumers. "The people should not face any inconvenience on account of power during winter, she said, and added that due care should be taken to check power pilferages. Earlier in a function at Party workers convention in Poonch, many joined National conference in presence of Dr Ganai which include Nazir Charak and Afzal lone, Manzoor Hussain. Newly entrants while reposing full faith in the leadership of Dr Ganai pledged that they will take the party programmes and policies among the people. Dr Ganai while welcoming these people in party fold congratulated them on taking the decision to join National conference and assured them that N.C will leave no stone unturned to come up to the expectations of the masses. Dr Ganai assured, that the party would always stand behind them and would provide all possible assistance to mitigate and solve public grievances of their respective areas.She assured the workers that the soon the party at the Block level, and District level will be restructured and a membership drive will be launched in Poonch. The function was attended by senior party functionaries of Poonch.
