Chairperson, District Development Council, Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan today kick started construction work on various developmental works in the Sub Division, Gool. The Chairperson kick started construction work of Bus stand Sangaldan under DDC grant with an approved cost of Rs. 337.47 lakh.
She started construction work on 0.7km Kohli morh to Jamia Masjid Sharif Gagarsulla road under Aspirational Block Developmental Programme (ABDP) with an allotted cost of Rs. 5.99 lakh and work on a road project from Sajad Morh to Sehmat Mohalla, length 0.5 km with an allotted cost Rs. 3.96 Lakh.
Addressing the gathering, the Chairperson said that with the completion of the projects, a long pending demand of the area will be fulfilled which will go a long way in easing the life of locals. The Chairperson directed the officers of PW (R&B) Department and line Departments to ensure quality and timely completion of construction work which will benefit thousands of souls of the area.
The Chairperson also asked the PRIs to personally monitor the execution of work to ensure quality and timely completion of developmental works and implementation of all youth and beneficiary oriented schemes in their respective areas.
The Chairperson also interacted with the people and listened to their issues of developmental needs. Among others, PRIs, Engineers from PWD and a large number of the general public present on the occasion.
