Chairperson DDC Udhampur, Lal Chand distributed 149 Solar Lights among the residents of Panchayat Blandh and Panchayat Dhanwalt of Block Parlidhar Under the Green India Mission.

DDC Ramnagar, Mool Raj; Chairperson BDC Parlidhar  Neelam Devi; DFO Ramnagar, Kuldeep Kumar were also present. The mission aims to provide sustainable and eco-friendly solutions to the energy needs of rural communities.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson DDC Udhampur said, "We are committed to leave a positive impact on the environment and to improve the lives of rural communities. 

The distribution of solar lights is an important step towards a greener and more sustainable future." The distribution of solar lights is part of a larger effort to promote renewable energy and reduce dependence on fossil fuels. 

The initiative will also help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to a healthier environment. More such solar lights will be distributed to families in rural areas in near future. 

The initiative will provide access to clean and sustainable energy for those who need it most, helping to improve their quality of life and support local economic development.

Among others, DDC Ramnagar Mool Raj, Chairperson BDC Parlidhar,  Neelam Devi, DFO Ramnagar Kuldeep Kumar, Sarpanch Blandh, Girdhari Lal, Sarpanch Dhanwalt Balwan Singh, PRI Members and locals were present.
