District Administration Udhampur today organized an impressive function to accord farewell to the outgoing District Development Commissioner, Dr Piyush Singla on his transfer as Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag.The function was attended by DIG Udhampur- Reasi Range, Sujit Kumar; Senior Superintendent of Police, Sargun Shukla; Additional District Development Commissioner, Ashok Kumar; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Syed Khan; Chief Planning Officer, Rajeev Bhushan; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Viqar Giri; Assistant Commissioner Development, Mushtaq Chowdhary; PO IWMP, Sapna Kotwal and other senior officers from civil Administration and Police besides prominent citizens .In his address, the outgoing DDC lauded the contribution of the officers in public service in the district.All the officers present in the function extended their best wishes to outgoing DDC for new assignment. The BDCs & District Development Council members also spoke on the occasion and hailed Dr Singla for his dedicated efforts for addressing the grievances of people. His tenure has been an enriching experience for all and the district has witnessed phenomenal growth in each and every sector, they said.Later, as a mark of honor and affection, mementos were presented to the outgoing DDC.
