Actress Niharica Raizada says joining the Anti-Terrorism Squad of Sooryavanshi on the World Anti Terrorism Day couldn’t be more fitting and appropriate.
After making her presence count and wooing the audience in Total Dhamaal, O P Nayyar’s granddaughter Niharica Raizada confirms signing on a role in forthcoming Rohit Shetty’s biggest film, Sooryavanshi.
Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starring Sooryavanshi is the next installment in cop universe tapestry Rohit Shetty has been weaving for almost a decade. The latest will be a unique amalgamation of Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi starring Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh in cameo roles.
Talking about the role and the film, Niharica said, “After being part of Dhamaal franchise, I have signed another franchise, and this one is probably the biggest in Indian Cinema. It all started with Singham Series and then came Simmba, and now Sooryavanshi. I have signed a film about Anti Terrorist Squad on the World Anti Terrorism Day; things couldn’t be more fitting and appropriate”
“The film stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Kumar will be playing Chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad and I can't say much about my role, but hopefully you will enjoy my presence in the film” added Niharica.
Talking about collaborating with Rohit Shetty for the film, Niharica said, “He is the fairest and one of the best and probably the most reliable hit-making machine in our current times. People dream of working with Rohit Shetty and I think I got lucky. First, I did the Dhamaal franchise and following it with another franchise, probably the biggest in Indian Cinema, Sooryavanshi”
Niharica Raizada was crowned as Miss India UK 2010 and was runner-up at Miss India Worldwide 2010.
Despite a small role in Total Dhamaal, Niharica showed grit and confidence, which has won her praise and critical acclaim from all quarters and of course led her to sign a Rohit Shetty film as well.
