Barnala DC, SSP interact with government school students

To motivate the students of Government Senior Secondary School (Boys) Dhanaula, Deputy Commissioner Barnala Dharam Pal Gupta along with SSP Harjit Singh held an interactive session in the hall of the school. DC also directed officials of education department to prepare a detailed report of requirements of all government schools. To review the standard of education at said school, Deputy Commissioner also asked several questions to the students.Dharam Pal Gupta also motivated the students to put in their best for the studies and said that school time is the foundation of whole life of any person and if one wants to achieve success in future, he has to work hard during his school.DC said that to be a successful person in future, the students should start reading good books as the books shape the life of a person. 

He added that the students should also set their future targets in the school time as it becomes easier to achieve goals set in school time.He added that they should also select the subject streams for higher studies as per their interests which will help to secure good ranks in academics.Meanwhile, SSP Harjit Singh also encouraged the students to follow rules of discipline and to stay away from drugs. He said that all eligible students should get a learner’s license before driving any vehicle and start learning driving from gearless vehicles. He added that the students should use bicycles as much as they can as it would help them to stay fit besides various other aspects including reducing pollution.On this occasion, ADC Sandeep Kumar, Assistant Commissioner (UT) Pavitar Singh, DEO (Secondary) Rajwant Kaur, Principal and other staff members of the school were also present.
