Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party who with his Panthers Party team drove to Kangra region of Himachal Pradesh from Jammu in the afternoon was denied security cover by the Government of Himachal Pradesh in spite of the repeated messages delivered to the Director General of Police and other responsible persons at Police Headquarters, Jammu, “alleged the party on Tuesday.The party spokesperson said that: “Bhim Singh and his team was provided security cover only when they crossed via Punjab to Himachal Pradesh. Driving from 9 pm on 6th November, 2017 to 4 am on 7th November, 2017. Prof. Bhim Singh was not provided security cover at all in spite of his direct message to the Director General of Police, J&K and Security Deparment in Himachal Pradesh. It was just a miracle that Bhim Singh and his partymen driven in private vehicle reached Taragrah Palace Hotel on November 7.“Prof.Bhim Singh also spoke to DG, J&K who told him on telephone that job of J&K Police is to inform and they can’t do anything beyond that. The police in J&K has refused to send security cover with Prof.Bhim Singh who is in ‘Z’ security cover for the past 25 years,” the party said.“Prof.Bhim Singh is travelling the Dogra belt in Himachal Pradesh making strong appeal to the enlightened voters to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party in Himachal Pradesh which is going to poll on 9th of this month,” the party spokesperson said.
