Several lawyers led by Vijayawada Bar Association President, Mr. Somu Krishnamurthy received Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party & Sr. Advocate in the Supreme Court of India and his associate Mr. Rajiv Jolly Khosla, President, Delhi Pradesh National Panthers Party at Vijayawada this morning when Prof.Bhim Singh reached Vijayawada on three-day visit on the invitation of Shri Yog Abhyas Ashram Trust, Vijayawada and Bar Association, Vijayawada. Thanking the Bar Association Prof.Bhim Singh assured his full support to the demand of the Bar Association, Vijayawada for the establishment of High Court as Andhra Pradesh has remained deprived of a seat of High Court. The lawyers’ fraternity accompanying Bar Association President, Mr. Krishnamurthy explained the difficulties which the people of Andhra Pradesh as well as the lawyers have been facing for over four years since the creation of Andhra Pradesh State because of the failure of the Central Govt. to constitute separate High Court in Andhra Pradesh.Prof.Bhim Singh who has been Sr. Executive Member of the Supreme Court Bar Association and Chairman of International Committee of the lawyers under the Bar Association assured the lawyers’ fraternity of Andhra Pradesh that he shall assist the Andhra Pradesh Bar Association with full commitment so that the general public, the clients and litigants shall not suffer any more because of the failure of the Union Govt. to establish a separate High Court in Andhra Pradesh.
Prof.Bhim Singh assured on behalf of the State Legal Aid Committee that he shall provide full support and assistance to the Andhra Pradesh Bar Association in their just and legitimate demand. Prof.Bhim Singh reminded Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi that the Union Govt. should redress this legitimate problem of the people of Andhra Pradesh who have remained denied of justice for the past four years. Prof.Bhim Singh has suggested to the Union Law Minister that a permanent bench should be established immediately in Amravati or in Vijayawada on the patron of north eastern states as well as in Jammu and Kashmir. Prof.Bhim Singh also assured the Bar Association that this is the most genuine issue which could be taken in Public Interest Litigation before the Supreme Court of India and he assured the Bar Association his full cooperation.Earlier, Prof.Bhim Singh was given a warm reception by Yog Abhyas Ashram Trust by its Chairman Swami Amit Dev ji on his arrival in Nuna where he arrived from the airport this morning. Prof.Bhim Singh has been invited on occasion of Basant Panchami Festival on 22nd January, 2018 in Vijayawada by Yog Abhyas Ashram Trust.
