Prof.Bhim Singh, Supremo, J&K National Panthers Party & Sr. Advocate, Supreme Court in an exclusive letter to Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India advocated strongly for promulgation of Governor Rule in the State of J&K in the interest of National Integration and involved all sections of the society in the state in the process of restoring peace and normalcy which stands shaken for over one year. Prof.Bhim Singh urged the Prime Minister to understand the statement of the Chief Minister of J&K in which she also urged the Prime Minister to find a middle path to restore normalcy and rebuild the confidence of the people of J&K. Prime Minister should understand that the Chief Minister of J&K has made a brave statement urging the Prime Minister find a middle path which is possible only in the given situation, the Governor Rule. The Governor of J&K in his message two months’ back had also conveyed, though indirectly, to search for some way out to restore peace and confidence of the people of the state.NPP Supremo said that President of India is the only competent authority as provided in Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, who shall advice the Governor of J&K and advice him to go for Governor Rule in the State of J&K by invoking Section 92 of J&K Constitution. The Chief Minister of J&K has also sounded favourably by urging the Prime Minister to find some way out to restore peace in the state.

The present situation in J&K is horrifying and terrible. The youth of Kashmir are flooded with emotions mixed with anger. The guns are raising up gun-wielding companies in J&K is no solution to restore peace in the state. As I urged earlier the Prime Minister after the dissolution of the present government should convene a meeting of the representatives of all political parties in J&K. The representatives of hostile political parties like Hurriyat Conference should also be invited without any reservation. The people of J&K need to be taken into confidence irrespective of their political ideology or belief. The people of Kashmir have had shown courage to stop Pakistan creator Mohd. Ali Jinnah and sent him back to Rawalpindi (Pakistan) from Kashmir without allowing him to address the Kashmiries in 1946. The Indian leadership to understand the commitment, secular conviction and spirit to respect each other in rainy days. This should not be forgotten by those who are ruling the country from New Delhi today.Prof.Bhim Singh in his letter also urged the Prime Minister to think of the people of the entire country from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and ensure the delivery of justice to all. Prime Minister should convene the meeting including the senior leadership like Dr. Karan Singh, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Ali Shah Geelani, Maulana Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and others.
