With the sacred blessings of Nirankari Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, a blood donation camp was organized today at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Sector 9, Panchkula, on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day. A total of 225 devotees donated blood in the camp organized under the aegis of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, thereby taking a noble step in the service of humanity.

The camp also received support from the District Red Cross Society. On this occasion, the Zonal In-charge of Chandigarh Zone, Shri O.P. Nirankari Ji, stated that since 1986, more than 9,000 blood donation camps have been organized, through which nearly 1.5 million units of blood have been dedicated for the welfare of humanity.

Similarly, in Chandigarh Zone, 20 blood donation camps are being organized this year, with an estimated collection of around 3,500 units of blood. Today also marks World Blood Donor Day. This year's campaign theme is: "Give blood, give hope: together we save lives."

Therefore, in the Sant Nirankari Mission, blood donation is regarded not merely as a social service but as a selfless service to humanity. Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj has, on numerous occasions, conveyed the message that blood donation is a gift that can directly provide a new lease of life to another person.

Shri Nirankari Ji further said that besides blood donation, the Nirankari Mission regularly undertakes cleanliness drives, tree plantation campaigns, and clean water initiatives under Project Amrit. Sewing and tailoring centres as well as free charitable dispensaries are also being run at Nirankari Bhawans.

He also informed that International Yoga Day will be observed at almost all Nirankari Bhawans on Sunday, June 21, 2026. He further said that inspired by the message of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj that "Human blood should flow through veins, not drains," Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj continues to encourage everyone to participate wholeheartedly in this great act of donation, keeping the welfare of humanity in mind.

On this occasion, Shri S.K. Soni Ji, Convener of Panchkula, expressed gratitude and thanks to the Zonal In-charge of Chandigarh and all the blood donors. He said that the entire humanity is one family. Whenever we donate blood, we light a lamp of hope in someone's life.

This is the true path of humanity and selfless service. A 10-member team led by Dr. Amit Ji from Civil Hospital, Sector 6, Panchkula, collected the blood units. The local Sewadal also extended wholehearted support on this occasion.
