Haryana Minister of State for Sports, Gaurav Gautam congratulated the people of the state on the remarkable achievements made by the Central and state Governments during the past 12 years under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.

He said the last 12 years have witnessed inclusive and holistic development across the country and the state, strengthening the principles of Antyodaya and public welfare. The Minister said a special Jan Samparak (public outreach) and Jan Jagrukta (public awareness) campaign is being conducted across the state to inform citizens about the government’s achievements and welfare initiatives, ensuring that every eligible beneficiary can take advantage of various schemes.

Under this campaign, Sh. Gaurav Gautam addressed a press conference at Palwal on Saturday and highlighted the key achievements of the government over the past 12 years. He said the last 12 years have been dedicated to trust, development and public welfare.

The government has worked tirelessly to empower youth, women and farmers while ensuring that the benefits of development reach every section of society. Highlighting the achievements of the Central Government, he said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, India has emerged as a global force, from infrastructure development to the digital revolution.

Historic decisions such as the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A, implementation of One Rank One Pension, enactment of the Citizenship Amendment Act, and introduction of new justice-oriented criminal laws have strengthened national unity, security and governance.

He said India's growing global stature is reflected in achievements such as the worldwide celebration of International Yoga Day and successful missions including Chandrayaan-3, Aditya-L1 and Gaganyaan. From being the world's 11th-largest economy in 2014, India is now moving rapidly towards becoming the fourth-largest economy.

The Minister said more than 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty during this period. Through welfare schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat and Jan Aushadhi Kendras, significant improvements have been made in the lives of poor and underprivileged families.

Referring to youth empowerment, he said initiatives such as Startup India, Skill India, Digital India and Make in India have created new opportunities. The Mudra Yojana has provided loans worth over Rs. 40 lakh crore with the majority of beneficiaries being women, while programmes such as Khelo India, Rozgar Melas and skill development initiatives have encouraged youth participation and employment.

He further said that initiatives such as the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, Lakhpati Didi campaign and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana have strengthened women’s empowerment. Similarly, schemes like PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, e-NAM, crop insurance  have contributed significantly to the welfare of farmers and the growth of the agriculture sector.

Speaking about Haryana, Sh. Gaurav Gautam said that under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the state government has worked with the spirit of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” and ensured balanced development across the state. He said major progress has been achieved in infrastructure, housing, healthcare, education, sports, electricity and social welfare.

The Minister highlighted flagship state initiatives such as Ayushman Bharat-Chirayu Haryana, Mukhyamantri Shehri Awas Yojana, Mhara Gaon-Jagmag Gaon Yojana, Teerth Darshan Yatra Yojana, Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana and procurement of all 24 crops at MSP. He said Haryana today stands among the leading states of the country and is making a significant contribution towards the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
