Global Youth Federation Sets Up 4 Computer Labs in Mohali Schools to Boost Digital Education

In a major step towards promoting digital education and empowering youth at the grassroots level, Global Youth Federation, India successfully established four new Computer Labs in government schools across Mohali, Punjab.

These Computer Labs were developed by Global Youth Federation in collaboration with Pukaar – The Voice of Humanity NGO, with the valuable support of SAGE Foundation and iVolunteer India, and have been dedicated to MY Bharat (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India), reflecting a strong commitment towards strengthening youth development and digital inclusion.

The Computer Labs were established at Government High School, Saneta (S.A.S. Nagar), Government High School, Mataur (Sector-70), Government High School, Mauli Baidwan, and Government High School, Baltana, with the aim of providing students access to modern technology and enhancing their digital learning capabilities.

This initiative is expected to play a crucial role in bridging the digital divide and equipping students with essential skills required in today’s rapidly evolving world. The inauguration ceremony was graced by eminent dignitaries including Mr. Mahesh Garg, Director SAGE; Mr. Anand Kadur, Country Head, SAGE; Ms. SudeeptiRastogi, L&D Head and Global SAGE Foundation Ambassador; Prof. (Dr.) Renu Trikha, Chief Advisor, Global Youth Federation; Mrs. Ginni Duggal, District Education Officer , Mohali; Ms. Isha Gupta, District Youth Officer, MY Bharat, Mohali; Mr. Rohit Kumar, Director & CEO, Global Youth Federation; and Mrs. Shivani Raina, Founder and President of Pukaar – The Voice of Humanity NGO. Their presence highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in creating meaningful and sustainable impact in the education sector.

This initiative stands as a strong example of effective partnership, where SAGE Foundation and iVolunteerIndia extended their continuous support, and Global Youth Federation, along with Pukaar – The Voice of Humanity, ensured smooth implementation at the grassroots level.

The dedication of these Computer Labs to MY Bharat further reinforces the shared vision of empowering youth through access to opportunities, technology, and skill development. Speaking on the occasion, Rohit Kumar, Director &CEO, Global Youth Federation, stated, “Our vision is to ensure that every student gets equal access to opportunities and is equipped with the skills needed for the future.

These Computer Labs are not just infrastructure; they represent opportunity, learning, and a pathway towards a brighter future.” The successful establishment of these Computer Labs marks a significant milestone in advancing digital literacy and creating inclusive learning environments, contributing to the larger goal of building a skilled and future-ready generation.
