Lok Sabha Member from Sri Anandpur Sahib, Malvinder Singh Kang, and Sukhveer Singh, OSD to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, today held election rallies in the villages of Dhura, Dhadogal, Isra, and Bhasaur in the Dhuri constituency. They appealed to residents to support Aam Aadmi Party candidates in the upcoming Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections.

Chairman of the Punjab Small Industries & Export Corporation, Dalvir Singh Dhillon, Chairman Market Committee Dhuri Rajwant Singh Ghulli, along with a large number of AAP volunteers, were present on the occasion. Addressing the gatherings, AAP spokesperson and MP Malvinder Singh Kang said that the elections for the Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti are crucial for rural development.

He said that these institutions play a decisive role in preparing proposals for implementing government schemes at the village level and securing development funds. He added that in a democracy, these elections hold great significance because the elected representatives act as the true voice of the people in the villages.

Kang urged the people to cast their votes keeping in mind the development that has taken place in the last four years. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, special focus has been given to rural development, resulting in villages now receiving facilities comparable to urban areas.

He appealed to voters to ensure the victory of AAP candidates so that the pace of development can be further accelerated. Chief Minister’s OSD Sukhveer Singh said that the development carried out in the Dhuri constituency in the last four years has surpassed the progress made in the previous seventy years.

He said that initiatives such as libraries, gyms, Aam Aadmi Clinics, and Schools of Eminence have brought urban-level facilities to rural areas. He added that the elected representatives for Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti will give new momentum to rural development, and therefore, people should vote in favor of Aam Aadmi Party candidates.

Malvinder Singh Kang and Sukhveer Singh appealed for the victory of AAP’s Zila Parishad candidates from Dhuri constituency—Rachhpal Singh from Mimansa Zone, Harjinder Singh Kanzhla from Baliyan Zone, and Jasmeet Kaur Chahal from Ghanour Kalan Zone. They also urged voters to support Panchayat Samiti candidates Jaswinder Kaur, Sukhmanveer Singh, Harpreet Singh, Joginder Singh, Rano, Jasvir Kaur, Ranjodh Singh, Swaranjit Kaur, Harjinder Kaur, Jaspal Kaur, Jagseer Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Amandeep Kaur, Khursheed, Ranjit Singh, Balwinder Singh, Amardeep Singh, Amritpal Singh, Harpreet Kaur, Gurjit Singh, Gurcharan Singh, Gurmeet Kaur, Ramandeep Kaur, Karamjit Kaur, Lakhveer Kaur, and Paramjit Kaur.
