The Aam Aadmi Party has intensified its election campaign for the Zila Parishad and Block Samiti polls in Dhuri, focusing on the extensive development works carried out during its tenure. Residents of the constituency are being encouraged to cast their votes after assessing the visible progress achieved in their areas.
This message was conveyed by Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation Chairman Dalvir Singh Dhillon and Dhuri Market Committee Chairman Rajwant Singh Ghulli while addressing several public meetings across the constituency.
Campaigning in support of Zila Parishad candidate Jasmeet Singh Chahal and Block Samiti candidates Paramjit Kaur, Lakhveer Kaur, Karamjit Singh, and Ramandeep Kaur, Chairman Dalvir Singh Dhillon highlighted that Aam Aadmi Party volunteers are reaching out door-to-door to create direct engagement with voters and inform them about the innovative reforms introduced by the AAP government.
He noted that the Mann Government has ushered in transformative improvements across sectors—ranging from 600 units of free electricity to the establishment of Aam Aadmi Clinics offering doorstep healthcare, and revolutionary initiatives like the School of Eminence aimed at elevating educational standards.
He further pointed out that nearly 58,000 youths have been provided government jobs, reflecting the government’s commitment to employment generation. Dhillon added that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is actively inviting major global investors to Punjab, a move expected to generate new employment avenues and strengthen the state’s economic landscape.
Appealing to the electorate, Chairman Dhillon urged them to make informed use of their voting rights by considering the development work accomplished over the last four years. He emphasized that Zila Parishads and Block Samitis play an essential role in grassroots development, and therefore, active participation in these elections is vital to sustaining the growth trajectory of the region.
