Under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, BJP Chandigarh distributed nutrition-rich food kits to 200 TB patients

Under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Bharatiya Janata Party Chandigarh organized an important event where State President Jitendra Pal Malhotra, along with industrialists Chander Verma and Sandeep Verma, distributed nutrition-rich food kits to 200 TB patients. 

Industrialists Chander Verma and Sandeep Verma made a significant contribution to this noble cause. This initiative by BJP Chandigarh is a commendable step toward realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Healthy and Strong India.

The program was held at three locations — Maloya Dispensary, Dadu Majra Dispensary, and Sector 56 Dispensary, Palsora. Present on the occasion were Dr. Shekhar Sharma (TB Coordinator, General Hospital, Sector 16), Dr. Mala (Incharge, Dadu Majra Dispensary), Dr. Hemlata (MO Incharge, Sector 56 Dispensary), and Dr. Amandeep Kaur (MO Incharge, Maloya Dispensary).

The event was organized with the support of the BJP Medical Cell. During the program, State President Jitendra Pal Malhotra said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream is of a TB-free and emerging India, and BJP Chandigarh is taking concrete steps to fulfill this vision.” 

He further informed that BJP Chandigarh has adopted 200 TB patients who will be provided free nutrition kits for six months. This was the second phase of the distribution drive.Those present on the occasion included BJP Medical Cell President Lalit Takyar, State Media Incharge Ravi Rawat, District President Rekha Sood, District Vice President Sanjay Tank, Deepak Pathak, Vikas Bansal, Sanjay Arora, Meena Chadha, and Anu Singla, among other party workers and medical officers.

BJP Chandigarh’s initiative reflects its commitment to extending health support and nutritional aid to the most vulnerable sections of society, contributing significantly to achieving the Prime Minister’s goal of a TB Mukt Bharat by 2025.
