Chairman Improvement Trust and MLA inaugurates newly constructed Yoga Shed: Cleanliness drive launched

Chairman Improvement Trust Amritsar Karamjit Singh Rintu and MLA Jeevanjot Kaur today inaugurated the newly constructed Yoga Shed in a 7-acre park in New Amritsar. Karamjit Singh Rintu said that the Yoga Shed facility will serve as a healthy and peaceful lifestyle. He said that Amritsar Improvement Trust is committed to creating such meaningful spaces across the city. 

On this occasion, MLA Jeevanjot Kaur appreciated this initiative and said that together we will continue to work for a clean, green and healthy Amritsar. Along with this, Chairman Karamjit Singh Rintu and MLA Jeevanjot Kaur also launched a cleanliness drive in Ward No. 35, New Amritsar. 

Chairman Karamjit Singh Rintu said that the main purpose of running the cleanliness drive is to create awareness among the people. He said that the problems being faced in the garbage collection areas are being solved.  He said that the tendering process of the Municipal Corporation is going on for door-to-door garbage collection. 

He said that in the coming days, the sanitation system of Guru Nagri Amritsar will improve. MLA Jeevanjot Kaur said that we are taking to the streets to make people aware about the sanitation system. She said that people should cooperate in the sanitation system for a few days. 

Do not throw garbage on the roads and footpaths. On this occasion, Councilor Satnam Singh Sabha, Councilor Anur Sukh Hundal, Gurkamal Singh Mann, Municipal Corporation officials, sanitation workers and a large number of people of the area were present.
