Today, the formal inauguration of the construction work of new streets in Bharti Bambi and Satnam Avenue of Ward No. 22 took place. MLA Mrs. Jeevanjot Kaur inaugurated the work by cutting the ribbon. Upon her arrival, she was warmly welcomed under the leadership of Senior Youth Wing Leader of Aam Aadmi Party, Jagjit Singh Jenky.

Acknowledging Jenky's continuous efforts for the development of the ward, MLA Jeevanjot Kaur gave him the credit for the commencement of today's works. Several prominent personalities of the region participated in this special event, including Jagjit Singh Jenky, Monica Madam, Harsimran Singh from Khanna, Charanjit Singh, Rajesh Pradhan, Mani Raja Pehlwan, Jatinder Singh Jinda, Kawal Madam, Preeti Madam, Dr. S.K. Pandit Ji, Poonam Ji, Monica Madam, and other notable residents of the area.

Addressing the people at the inauguration, MLA Jeevanjot Kaur said, "The long-standing demands of the people in Ward No. 22 at Bharti Bambi and Satnam Avenue are finally being fulfilled today. These new streets will not only beautify the area but also make commuting easier. Residents will no longer have to wait for development works.”

She also announced that several other development projects in the region would be launched soon, including beautification of parks, improved water supply lines, and additional road lighting. The MLA assured the residents that work will always be done for the welfare of the people.

The local residents enthusiastically welcomed the MLA and other guests. Local residents Jatinder Singh Jinda and Mani Raja Pehlwan said, “Thanks to Jenky, the ongoing construction work in the area will now reduce people’s difficulties. We thank the MLA and the team.” 

After the inauguration, the area residents also planted trees to give a message of greenery.
