Negligence in development work will not be tolerated in any ward of Central Assembly constituency : Dr Ajay Gupta

MLA from Central Assembly constituency Dr Ajay Gupta today held a meeting with newly appointed councilor Jarnail Singh Todh, newly appointed councilor Vicky Dutta, volunteers of wards of Central Assembly constituency, officials of Municipal Corporation. Nigran Engineer Sandeep Singh, Executive Civil SP Singh, Executive O&M Manjit Singh, SDO Ashok Kumar, SDO Gurpreet Singh, all JEs of Civil, O&M and Street Light Department related to Central Assembly constituency also attended the meeting. 

MLA Dr Gupta said that negligence in development work will not be tolerated in any ward of Central Assembly constituency. He said that especially big development projects and other development works have been started, all these works should be completed within the time period in any case. 

He said that all the work orders issued for construction of roads and patch work on roads before the closure of the premix plant should be completed as soon as possible. MLA Dr Ajay Gupta said that to fix the clogged sewerage system in the Central Assembly constituency, a work order has been issued several days ago for sewerage de-silting at a cost of Rs 50 lakh. 

He said that wherever the sewerage system is not working properly in all the wards of the Central Assembly constituency, de-silting should be started with immediate effect. He said that today itself the newly elected councillors and ward volunteers will issue its schedule. He said that the estimates for the wards of the Central Assembly constituency where new street lights are to be installed are already ready. 

The tender process for the same should also be done as soon as possible. He said that especially in the areas of the walled city where more lights are to be installed, lights should be installed with immediate effect.He said that on receiving complaints from the volunteers of the Central Assembly constituency, it should be resolved immediately. 

He said that departmental action will be taken against the officers who are negligent in their work with immediate effect. He clearly said that the officers who work will get full respect and the officers who do not work should make their preparations. 

MLA Dr Gupta said that if any officer finds any kind of deficiency, then that officer should immediately bring it to his notice. Which he will get resolved by contacting Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. He said that there is no shortage of funds for getting development work done.
