Punjab Finance, Planning, Excise and Taxation Minister Advocate Harpal Singh Cheema on Tuesday said that the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab government aimed to strengthen the coordination between students, parents, and teachers by conducting anual Mega Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTM)s, to ensure that no stone is left unturned in brightening the future of the students studying in the government schools.

While attending the Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) held at Comrade Bhim Singh School of Eminence, Dirba and Government Senior Secondary School, Mahalan, the Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema highlighted that these meetings are proving beneficial in reviewing the physical and mental development of the students by bringing students, parents, and teachers together.

During these events, the Minister inspired students to strive hard to achieve great success. Emphasizing that the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is making extensive efforts to elevate the level of education, Cheema said that the Business Blaster program, which aims to motivate government school students towards the business sector, is yielding meaningful results, guiding students to become future entrepreneurs.

The uniforms prepared by students with entrepreneurial skills were a highlight of today's event. Minister Cheema also took the opportunity to see the goods prepared by the students at the school. He, along with the general public, purchased items from the students, encouraging them in their entrepreneurial endeavors. He said that this initiative helps bring to light the problems faced by the schools, allowing for appropriate efforts to address these issues.

He reiterated the Punjab government's commitment to making government schools superior to private schools in terms of facilities. He expressed confidence that students from government schools will be able to make a name for themselves at national and international levels in education, sports, culture, and other constructive activities.

While interacting with the students, Minister Cheema motivated them to study diligently and achieve maximum marks in their annual examinations. He praised the hardworking and experienced teachers of government schools and mentioned that the Punjab government is implementing efforts to train them abroad to ensure teaching reforms.
