The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with joy and enthusiasm, in the District Court Complex, SAS Nagar on 15 th August, 2024. The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Mr. Atul Kasana, District and Sessions Judge, SAS Nagar. He congratulated the judicial officers, employees and students on Independence Day. The National Anthem was presented by the students of Government High School, Landran.
On the occasion of Independence Day celebrations, the students of Government High School, Landran also planted various types of saplings. Ms.Surabhi Prashar, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar informed that in accordance with the instructions issued by the Punjab State Legal Services Authority, Tree Plantation Drive w.e.f. 01 july to 30 September under a campaign to plant maximum number of trees is being carried out in the city.

ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ 78ਵੇਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ 15 ਅਗਸਤ, 2024 ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਕਚਹਿਰੀ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਵਿਖੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਤੁਲ ਕਸਾਨਾ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਸ਼ਨਜ਼ ਜੱਜ ਵਲੋਂ ਤਿਰੰਗਾ ਝੰਡਾ ਲਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਿਆਂਇਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ, ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਧਾਈਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਹਾਈ ਸਕੂਲ, ਲਾਂਡਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਗੀਤ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਦੇ ਜਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਹਾਈ ਸਕੂਲ, ਲਾਂਡਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੂਟੇ ਵੀ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ। ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸੁਰਭੀ ਪਰਾਸ਼ਰ, ਸਕੱਤਰ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ, ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਵਿਚ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ. ਨਗਰ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਤੀ 01 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਤੋਂ 30 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਤੱਕ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦਰੱਖਤ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਚਲਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
