Haryana Chief Secretary, Sh. T.V.S.N. Prasad paid rich tributes to Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary and extended congratulations to the people of the state. Expressing his pride in participating in the birth anniversary program of the architect of the Constitution, he remarked that this marks his inaugural public function as Chief Secretary.
The Chief Secretary was addressing a function organized by the Haryana Civil Secretariat SC/ST Employees Welfare Association Chandigarh, commemorating the 133rd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, held here today.
Principal Secretary of Excise and Taxation, Sh Devendra Kalyan, Special Secretary of Finance, Sh. Jaiveer Arya, Special Secretary of Personnel and Training, Sh. Prabhjot Singh, Special Secretary of the Agriculture Department, Dr. Munish Nagpal, Joint Secretary Sh Tarun Panwaria, Special Secretary of Administration, Sh Samvartak Singh, and Senior Commandant Yogesh Prakash Singh and other senior officers shared their perspectives and paid floral tributes to Baba Saheb on this occasion.
The Chief Secretary highlighted with pride that Baba Saheb was the first individual in the country to receive education at Columbia University. He noted that the house where Baba Saheb resided while pursuing his economics degree in London has been transformed into a memorial site.
In addition, he emphasized Baba Saheb's monumental contribution in granting India the status of the world's largest democratic country through the Constitution. He said that embracing Baba Saheb's ethos of "Be Educated" as an ideal, the government will enhance the professional skills of its employees.
This initiative aims to empower the state's workforce to serve the public more effectively, aligning with his principles. Through this endeavor, the state employees aspire to earn the distinction of being the most skilled and successful. Furthermore, in line with Baba Saheb's teachings, there will be a strong emphasis on promoting social harmony and morality to foster unity within society.
Describing the employees as the backbone of the government, the Chief Secretary said that when they unite and serve the public with a spirit of teamwork, it ensures the all-round development of the state and further enhances Haryana's reputation nationwide.
He expressed that such achievements would bring immense pride to the state. Furthermore, he assured the employees that they can approach him without hesitation or fear for any work-related matters, as his doors are always open to them.
Sh Prasad said that like Baba Saheb, we should always pursue a tough goal, only then we can overcome every obstacle and achieve the desired objective. Despite facing adversity, Baba Saheb dedicated himself to the noble cause of building a developed India. Recognizing the pivotal role of education, he urged everyone to inspire the youth to pursue higher education.
In addition, he extended his congratulations to the people of the state on Ashtami. Association President Deepender Malik, General Secretary Mainpal Sihag, All India Ambedkar Mahasabha Chandigarh President Satyawan Saroha, Chairman Satyendra Pradeep, Suresh Dahiya, Naresh Narwal, Dr. Narendra, Manjeet Kaur, Nidhi, Charanjit Kaur, Dharmendra Singh, Suresh Morka, Harikishan Sharma, Karambir Barwal and a number of officials were also present on this occasion.

सरकारी कर्मचारियों के प्रोफेशनल स्किल को किया जायेगा अपग्रेड

हरियाणा के मुख्य सचिव श्री टीवीएसएन प्रसाद ने बाबा साहेब डा. भीमराव अम्बेडकर को उनकी जयंती पर श्रद्धासुमन अर्पित करते हुए प्रदेशवासियों को बधाई एवं शुभकामनायें दी। उन्होंने कहा कि बतौर मुख्य सचिव यह उनका पहला पब्लिक समारोह है और संविधान निर्माता के जयंती कार्यक्रम में शामिल होकर वे स्वयं को गौरवान्वित महसूस कर रहे है। मुख्य सचिव आज यहां भारत रत्न डा. बी आर अम्बेडकर के 133 वें जन्मोत्सव पर हरियाणा सिविल सचिवालय एससी/ एसटी कर्मचारी वेल्फेयर एसोसिएशन चण्डीगढ द्वारा आयोजित कार्यक्रम को सम्बोधित कर रहे थे।
कार्यक्रम में प्रधान सचिव आबकारी एवं कराधान श्री देवेन्द्र कल्याण, विशेष सचिव वित्त श्री जयवीर आर्य, विशेष सचिव पर्सोनल एवं प्रशिक्षण श्री प्रभजोत सिंह, विशेष सचिव कृषि विभाग डा. मुनीष नागपाल, संयुक्त सचिव तरुण पांवरिया, विशेष सचिव प्रशासन संवर्तक सिंह, सीनियर कमांडर योगेश प्रकाश सिंह सहित कई वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों ने बाबा साहेब को पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर अपने विचार व्यक्त किए।
मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि यह बड़े की गर्व की बात है कि बाबा साहेब कोलम्बिया विश्वविद्यालय में शिक्षा ग्रहण करने वाले देश के पहले व्यक्ति थे। लन्दन में अर्थशास़्त्र की डिग्री हासिल करते समय जिस आवास में वे रहे उसे स्मारक स्थल बनाया गया है। बाबा साहेब ने संविधान द्वारा भारत को विश्व के सबसे बड़े लोकतान्त्रिक देश का दर्जा दिलवाया।
उन्होंने कहा कि बाबा साहेब के "शिक्षित बनो" आचरण को आदर्श मानते हुए सरकारी कर्मचारियों के प्रोफेशनल स्किल को अपग्रेड किया जाएगा ताकि प्रदेश का कर्मचारी सबसे अधिक निपुण होकर बेहतर ढंग से जनता की सेवा कर उनके आदर्शों पर खरा उतर सके। उन्होंने कहा कि इस प्रकार प्रदेश के कर्मचारियों को सबसे अधिक निपुण और कामयाब होने का खिताब हासिल होगा। इसके अलावा बाबा साहेब के दिखाए रास्ते पर चलते हुए समाज को एक सूत्र में पिरोते हुए सामाजिक समरसता और सदाचार पर बल दिया जाएगा।
मुख्य सचिव ने कर्मचारियों को सरकार की रीढ बताते हुए कहा कि अगर कर्मचारी एकजुट होकर टीम भावना से जनता की सेवा करें तो प्रदेश का चहुँमुखी विकास सुनिश्चित होगा और देशभर में हरियाणा का और अधिक गौरव बढेगा। वह हमारे लिए बड़ा ही प्रतिष्ठा और गौरवमय क्षण होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि कर्मचारी कार्य के लिए किसी भी समय बेझिझक निर्भय होकर उनसे मिल सकते हैं। इसके लिए उनके द्वार सदैव खुले है।
श्री प्रसाद ने कहा कि बाबा साहेब की तरह हमेशा कठिन लक्ष्य लेकर चलना चाहिए तभी हम हर बाधाओं को पार करते हुए वांछित मुकाम हासिल कर सकते है। बाबा साहेब ने कठिन परिस्थितियों में देश को विकसित भारत बनाने की दिशा में कार्य किया। इसलिए शिक्षा के महत्व को ध्यान में रखते हुए हमें उच्च शिक्षित होने के साथ साथ अन्य युवाओं को भी शिक्षित करने के लिए प्रेरित करना चाहिए। उन्होंने प्रदेशवासियों को अष्टमी की बधाई दी।
