BJP candidate Sanjay Tandon said that during the last 10 years of his tenure, the Prime Minister of the country worked for the upliftment of every class including women, poor, youth, farmers and businessmen.
Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 4 crore houses to the needy people of the country, distribution of free ration to the poor, free LPG cylinder under Ujjwala Yojana, tap water in every house, empowerment of women through self-help groups etc. are the prominent works. In a program organized at the residence of BJP District Vice President Rajkumar Rana in Maloya, Tandon said after the initiative of the Prime Minister, one crore women in the country have become "Lakhpati Didi" and the target is to make three crore more Lakhpati Didi.
He said the Congress remained in power in India after independence for the longest time, but if we compare the rule of Congress vs BJP, then the last 10 years of the BJP will outweigh the rule of more than 50 years of the Congress. He said even after 65 years of independence, more than 18,000 villages in India did not have electricity.
Tandon questioned the Maloya residents and asked them to tell that even after more than half a century of independence, if there is a dearth of basic facilities in the villages, adequate arrangements for water, education and health facilities, then what will be the meaning of independence in this situation?

भाजपा प्रत्याशी संजय टंडन ने कहा कि देश के प्रधानमंत्री ने पिछले 10 वर्ष के कार्यकाल में महिलाओं,गरीबों,युवाओं,किसानों और कारोबारियों सहित हर वर्ग उत्थान के लिए कार्य किए। प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना के तहत देश के जरुरतमंद लोगों 4 करोड़ मकान,गरीबों को मुफ्त राशन वितरण, उज्जवला योजना के तहत मुफ्त रसोई गैस सिलिंडर, हर घर में नल और नल से जल,महिलाओं को स्वयं सहायता समूह के माध्यम से सशक्त बनाने जैसे कार्य प्रमुखता से किए। टंडन सोमवार शाम गांव मलोया पहुंचे।इस दौरान मलोया की महिलाओं ने भाजपा प्रत्याशी का बोली टप्पों और पुष्प वर्षा से स्वागत किया।
मलोया में भाजपा के जिला उपाध्यक्ष राजकुमार राणा के आवास पर रखे कार्यक्रम में टंडन ने कहा कि देश में प्रधानमंत्री की पहल के बाद एक करोड़ महिलाएं "लखपति दीदी" बन चुकी हैं और तीन करोड़ और लखपति दीदी बनाने का लक्ष्य है।उन्होंने कहा कि भारत की स्वतंत्रता के बाद सबसे लंबे समय कांग्रेस सत्ता पर काबिज रही,मगर कांग्रेस बनाम भाजपा के शासनकाल की तुलना अगर की जाए तो भाजपा के पिछले 10 वर्ष कांग्रेस के 50 साल से अधिक के शासनकाल पर भारी पड़ेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि स्वतंत्रता मिलने के 65 वर्ष बाद भी भारत के 18000 गांव से ज्यादा गांवों में बिजली नहीं थी।
टंडन मलोया वासियों से सवाल किया और पूछा आप बताएं कि स्वतंत्रता मिलने के बाद आधी सदी से ज्यादा समय गुजर पर भी अगर गांवों में मूलभूत सुविधाओं का टोटा हो, जल, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं का पर्याप्त प्रबंध ना हो तो इस स्थिति में आजादी के क्या मायने हुए ? उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने 2014 में शपथ लेने के बाद एक सेवक के रुप में कार्य शुरु किया था और पिछले दस साल में भारत को हर क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ाने का काम किया।
