The "Sarkar Aapke Dwar" initiative launched by the Punjab government to provide government services to the people at their doorstep saw immense success today. During a camp organized in the village of Singhawala in Moga district, a newlywed couple received their marriage registration certificate just five minutes after their wedding ceremony.
This certificate was issued by Senior Deputy Commissioner Kulwant Singh in the presence of MLA Dr. Amandeep Kaur Arora from the Moga constituency. The couple also received blessings from both families and expressed their gratitude to the Punjab government and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
It is worth mentioning that today, under the "Your Government, Your Door" initiative, 16 service camps were set up in Moga district, where thousands of people got various government-related work done. Such a camp was set up in Singhawala village under the Moga sub-division.
During this camp, while the marriage ceremony of Prabhjot Singh, son of Salwant Singh, and Rajni, daughter of Ashok Kumar, was ongoing at the nearby Gurudwara Sahib, SDM Sarangpreet Singh Aulakh and Tehsildar Lakhwinder Singh Gill motivated the couple to immediately fill out the form to take advantage of the occasion.
Both families quickly filled out the form to benefit from this occasion, and the Deputy Commissioner immediately issued the certificate to the couple, who also received blessings from the Punjab government.On this occasion, the newlywed couple and their families expressed their gratitude to the Punjab government, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, MLA Dr. Amandeep Kaur, and the district administration. They praised the effort of the Punjab government to provide services to the people at their doorstep.
