Director Horticulture Agriculture Jammu, Ram Savak today attended Back to Village program phase 5 at Panchayat Narayana Lower of block Khour as the visiting officer. The officer's visit included active participation in the Gram Panchayat meeting, where vital discussions on local governance and development strategies took place.

SDM Khour, Amit Kumar Thakur, BDO Khour Dheeraj Sharma, CHO Jammu Ashwani Sharma, SDAO. O P Sharma, HDO Amit Saraf, Sarpanch Sharda Devi and other officials & PRI members were present on the occasion.

During a comprehensive review meeting with officials from the line departments, the officer shared insights and information about the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, enlightening the farmers about its benefits and encouraging their participation. This initiative aims to empower local farmers with financial support, contributing to the prosperity of the agricultural community in Panchayat Naryana.

In a gesture of support for grass root development, Sh Ram Savak inaugurated the tube well and meticulously inspected ongoing departmental works under schemes like CAPEX, MGNREGA etc.  This hands-on approach signifies a dedication to ensuring the effective implementation of projects that directly impact the lives of the local population.

The officer's engagement extended to the Gram Sabha, where awareness about PM-KISAN and other welfare schemes was highlighted. This direct interaction with the community underscores the importance of information dissemination and community involvement in the development process.

As a part of the visit, the officer planted fruit and forest plants and inspected the carom competition of students of Govt. high school and also conducted a thorough inspection of key government institutions, ensuring that they are well-equipped to serve the needs of the community efficiently. This aspect of the visit emphasizes the significance of robust institutional support for the sustained growth of Panchayat Naryana Lower.

The visit of the distinguished officer not only reinforces the Back to Village program's objectives but also signifies a collaborative effort to bridge the gap between government initiatives and local communities. By actively participating in various aspects of rural development, the officer has demonstrated a holistic approach to fostering positive change at the grassroots level.
