The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab has extended a cordial invitation to leaders of all opposition parties to actively participate in a debate scheduled by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on November 1st. Addressing the media, AAP Punjab Chief Spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang and Spokesperson Govinder Mittal underlined the importance of this event on Tuesday evening.

Chief Spokesperson Kang expressed his concern about the press conferences and the excuses being presented by the leaders of Akali Dal, Congress, and BJP to evade this significant discussion. The debate aims to delve into all pertinent issues concerning Punjab, in line with the Chief Minister's statement on social media.

Bhagwant Mann, extending his invitation to BJP President Sunil Jakhar, Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal, PPCC President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, and Leader of the Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa, urged them to come together for an open dialogue.

Kang emphasized that the debate will shed light on corruption, nepotism, and the actions of individuals who prioritized personal interests over the welfare of Punjab. The discussion will encompass topics such as toll plazas, youth, farmers, agriculture, business, water resources, and the teachings of Guru Sahib.

Kang also voiced his opinion that these leaders may be hesitant to engage in the debate due to their lack of seriousness about Punjab's issues. He refuted Bikram Majithia's allegations, highlighting that if the Akali Dal possesses any evidence of the Mann government taking an anti-Punjab stance in court, they should present the documents during the debate. Kang also called on them to disclose any information about properties acquired in Gurgaon in exchange for the notification of land for the SYL canal in 1978.

Kang directed attention to BJP President Sunil Jakhar, questioning his transition from the Congress party to the BJP and his stance on resolving contentious issues. He remarked that the central government plays a vital role in addressing these issues but suggested that political motivations hinder the resolution of matters such as SYL, BBMB, and Chandigarh.

Regarding security concerns for the upcoming event in Ludhiana, Kang assured that the state government is committed to ensuring the safety of all participants and attendees. He once again urged Sunil Jakhar, Sukhbir Badal, Raja Warring, and Pratap Bajwa to participate in the debate and fulfill their responsibilities for the benefit of Punjab, rather than seeking excuses to evade the discussion.
