Employees of Co-operative Banks contributed Rs 39.33 lakh in Chief Minister’s relief fund by handing over the cheque to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Lauding this benevolent gesture, the Chief Minister said that Bank employees had given their one day’s salary for this noble cause. He said that this donation will go a long way in extending a helping hand to the needy people. 

Bhagwant Singh Mann appreciated the philanthropic efforts made by these employees. Profusely thanking the employees who were coming forward to help the people, he said that it is the need of the hour to ensure that the distressed people get timely help. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that every penny of people's contribution will give a major relief to the needy people.
