Vice Chairperson, District Development Council Udhampur, Juhi Manhas Pathania, called upon people to make the Meri Maati Mera Desh programme a public movement. We need to participate in it religiously, she added.

She visited different hamlets and paid homage to brave martyrs at ‘Falaks’ (plaques) installed in all Panchayats. She also visited Amrit Sarovars in her constituency, under the ‘Meri Matti Mera Desh’ programme and collected a pinch of soil and rice granules from households, which will be taken to Kartavya Path in New Delhi for planting an Amrit Vatika.
