Different activities were organized during “Brashtachar Mukt J&K Week” which was organized in the Directorate of Floriculture, Parks & Gardens Jammu,  Har-Ki-Poudi, Bagh-e-Bahu, Jammu. The activities were organised under the supervision of Director General Floriculture, Parks & Gardens Jammu, S.Jatinder Singh.

On this occasion a pledge was taken to safeguard integrity frameworks and code of ethics to ensure that we are not part of any corrupt practice and can tackle instances of corruption with utmost strictness and maintain integrity, transparency, accountability, and fairness in every work. 

It was stressed to promote good governance and ethical business practices as per laid down norms of the Government. Awareness programmes were also organized in all the offices of the Directorate as part of weeklong celebrations.

Interacting with the employees of the Department, he stressed upon them to strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of the vigilance department. He also directed the concerned officers to sensitize the employees and the public about the ill effects of corruption through the dissemination of information on the ground level. 

Deputy Director, Jammu, Deputy Director (P&S), Landscape Officer, Accounts Officer & Floriculture Officer (HQ) were present in the ceremony along with all the officials of the Directorate. The Departmental Vigilance Officer sanitized all the employees about Prevention of Corruption Act along with the ways & means to avid corruption in any form. 

Accordingly, the observance of “BrashtacharMukt, awareness Week” Pledge Ceremonies were also organised in all the Districts of the Division under the guidance of District Officers of Floriculture, Parks & Gardens Department.
