The District Institute of Education & Training (DIET) Doda hosted a highly anticipated District level Toycathon (DLC) competition in hybrid mode (online and offline mode) respectively after achieving the target of 3681 registration of students across the district under the banner of Toycathon 2023. 

The event was held under the esteemed leadership of Director SCERT (Prof) Dr. P. S. Manhas, Team Toyotathon SCERT Jammu, Irvinder Kaur, Vivek Jandial, Monika Sharma, Yogesh Kumar and Supervision and able guidance of Principal DIET Doda Sandhra Malhotra and DNO, Toycathon Mussarat Jahan Mintoo, witnessed an overwhelming participation of ZNOs, HOIs, teachers, and students from across district Doda.

The event witnessed an enthusiastic response from Educational Institutions across the district in all three categories.Students from different schools put forth their innovative ideas through toys/game designs. The event commenced with an opening ceremony by DNO, DIET Doda Mussarat Jahan, followed by jury members Virender, HOD, DIET Doda, Dr. Abida Sr. Lect, Dimple Devi, Zakia Khanum (DIET Faculty members).

Principal DIET Doda, Sandhra Malhotra, expressed immense pleasure on successful completion of the grand event and appreciated the efforts of DNO, ZNOs and expressed gratitude to all Respected HOIs (Govt/Pvt) HSS, HS, MS across the District Doda to achieve the desired target .The DIET Faculty members highlighted the significance of promoting indigenous toys manufacturing and the role it plays in nurturing the creativity among children.

The success of DLC Category 1(6th -8th), Category 2 (9th-10th), Category 3 (11th-12th) bears testimony to the hard work put in by DIET Faculty Raj Mohd, Sr. Lect, Zahid Ahmed, Kismat Singh, Basit Masood, the management Team Ajaz Ahmed, Irshad Ahmed, Sohail Wani, Farooq Ahmed, Chander Prakash, Mr Tanveer and ZNOs, HOIs, teachers participants.  

Winners from all the three categories will now participate in Divisional level Competition at SCERT, Jammu on 18th September 2023. DNO, Toycathon, while concluding the event thanked all the stakeholders for their persistent efforts in making the entire chain of events from School Level Event (SLC) to District Level Competition (DLC) a grand success in the District.
