A meeting to review the implementation of ongoing Schemes of  Poshan Projects in Udhampur and Reasi Districts was held today under the chairpersonship of  Mission Director, POSHAN J&K, Rubina Kousar, here in the  Conference Hall of DC Office Complex Udhampur.

Joint Director, Mission poshan, Devinder Singh Katoch also accompanied the Mission Director during the review meeting.The Programme Officer Mission Poshan Udhampur,  Subhash Chander Dogra  and Programme Officer, Reasi Mohammad Anwar Banday gave detailed power point presentations regarding achievements under different ongoing POSHAN Schemes. 

The CDPOs & Supervisors of Poshan Projects of the twin   Districts of Udhampur and Reasi also attended the meeting.The Mission Director Mission took note of financial and physical achievements in the twin   Districts under all schemes including PMMVY, Poshan tracker, SNP, ECCE, Geo tagging of AWCs, Honorarium and Rent besides expenditure under various heads.

The recruitment process of Sanginis (AWWs)/Sahayikas (AWHs) of all the Poshan projects of Districts of Udhampur and Reasi was also reviewed.The concerned officers were asked to fill all left out vacancies of Sanginis (AWWs) and Sahayikas (AWHs) at the earliest as per rules.

The Mission Director also directed each CDPO  to monitor the process of SNP. Directions were also issued to both DPOs to organise Breast Cancer awareness campaigns in coordination with the Health Department in all zones of their projects.
