Mission Director, POSHAN J&K, Rubina Kousar today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to take first hand appraisal of the functioning of Kathua and Samba POSHAN projects here in the conference hall of DC Office Complex.

The Joint Director, Mission POSHAN, J&K Devinder Singh Katoch besides CDPO Indu Jamwal & CDPO Neha Gupta of Mission Director Office also accompanied the Director.At the outset, PO Mission POSHAN Kathua Dr Basharat Hussain and PO Mission POSHAN Samba Dr Subash Chander gave a brief profile of the respective districts through power point presentations.

The Mission Director took a comprehensive review of physical and financial achievements achieved under PMMVY, Poshan tracker, Ladli Beti, SNP, ECCE, Geo tagging of AWCs, Honorarium and Rent and other schemes being implemented in the twin districts.

While reviewing the ongoing recruitment process of Sanginis (AWWs)/Sahayikas (AWHs)  for the Poshan projects of Districts of Kathua and Samba, the MD passed directions to the concerned to fill all leftout vacancies of Sanginis (AWWs) and Sahayikas ( AWHs) at the earliest.

The Mission Director called upon CDPOs to monitor the procurement of SNP besides directing POs of Kathua and Samba districts to hold camps on Breast Cancer awareness to sensitize women folks in coordination with the Health Department.The CDPOs & Supervisors of Poshan Projects of both Kathua and Samba districts also attended the meeting.
