A momentous gathering was today held at the Directorate of Horticulture Rajbagh, Srinagar, as a jubilant function under the banner of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and in connection with ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ campaign.The event, chaired by Director Horticulture, G. R. Mir and co-chaired by Imam U Din, Managing Director of JKHPMC, resonated with the spirit of patriotism and progress. 

This gathering was organized to extend a hearty welcome to the newly appointed members in the Department of Horticulture.The central focus of the event was the ceremonial appointment of 17 skilled Horticulture Technicians and 03 proficient Stenographers. 

The appointment orders were conferred by the Director Horticulture following their successful recruitment by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (SSB). This milestone not only recognizes their talent but also underscores the department’s commitment to nurturing a talented workforce.

Director Horticulture extended a warm welcome to the newly inducted members, emphasizing the vital role they will play in the growth and development of the horticulture sector. He expressed his confidence in their abilities and encouraged them to approach their duties with dedication and enthusiasm.

The attendees departed with a renewed sense of purpose, invigorated by the collective determination to propel the Department of Horticulture to greater heights.
