Two Men Drown in River in Doda, Rescue Operation On

Two persons drowned in river Chenab in Doda district on Thursday following which rescue operation has been started. A senior police officer told news agency Kashmir Scroll said that  two persons namely Rohit Singh S/O Remesh Kumar (serving in Army) age 25 yrs and Sunil Kumar S/O Ram Raj age 24 yrs both resident of Durga Nagar Khallani (Doda) drowned in Chanab River near village Durga Nagar while they were washing their hands after performing last rights of their relative on the bank of River Chanab.

He said police officers are  on Spot and supervising the search and rescue operation launched by Police and team of SDRF along with locals of the area.
