The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) got a massive boost ahead of Jalandhar by-poll scheduled for May 10th. On Sunday, in the presence of Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa and AAP leader Baltej Singh Pannu, Kashyap Rajput society extended their support to the AAP candidate Sushil Kumar Rinku and promised to go door to door to campaign in favour of the Aam Aadmi Party.

Speaking on the occasion, Jathedar Sukhbir Singh Shalimar, president of Kashyap Rajput society, said that Akali-Congress only looted Punjab for 70 years, it was the Aam Aadmi Party who showed through their development works that it was not the 'khali khazana' stopping the previous governments but it was lack of good intentions.

He added that the Kashyap society is a poor society and needs special attention. After elections, they will work together with the AAP government for the upliftment of their society.
