In order to further strengthen the guarantee of providing quality education in the state by the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Ricela Foundation today paid the fees of 5,520 students of 31 government schools of Dhuri block under the 'Padhda Punjab' project from its own funds. 

In a special event organized at Government Senior Secondary School Girls Dhuri to distribute cheques of fee and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur attended as the chief guest and Deputy Commissioner Sangrur Jitendra Jorwal was the special guest.On this occasion casion, Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal said that the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is making continuous efforts to raise the standard of education in the government schools. 

He said that apart from improving the infrastructure of government schools, 'Schools of Eminence' are being developed in which special coaching will be given by the teachers to brighten the future of talented students of all streams including medical, non-medical. He said that nowadays, the teachers posted in government schools need to recognize the skills of their students so that they could be nurtured as per modern requirements.

During his address, Ricela Group Chairman AR Sharma said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is taking our Punjab in the right direction and we all should support him in this noble cause. He said that Ricela Foundation has decided that no student in Dhuri city and its nearby areas should drop out of school due to fee problem and this is being continuously monitored by them. He said that along with this, the two topper students will also be given a stipend for all their further studies by the foundation.

On this occasion, SDM Vineet Kumar, Chief Minister's OSD Onkar Singh, Chairman Rajwant Singh Ghulli, Chairman Ashok Kumar Lakha, M.C. President Pushpa Tayal, Jasveer Singh Jassi Sekhon, Ghanshyam Kansal, M.P. Singh, Prashotam Kala, Anwar Bhasod, staff and students of schools and a large number of dignitaries were also present.
