Cultural Wing DIPR organises Symposium in GWC Parade

A Symposium on Cultural Practices for Sustainable Environment cum Cultural program was today organised by Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) here in the Government College for Women (GCW) Parade.

As many as 12 students participated in the symposium competition. First prize was bagged by Navya, who express her views in English, second prize won by   Anmol while third prize was won by Khushi.

The competition was adjudged by Professors of the College. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest S.P Sarswat, Principal of the College, shared his views on topic and also appreciated the students, staff members, Department of Information and Public Relations for organizing such a meaningful program to aware the future of the nation. 

Parul Khajuria Cultural Officer Cultural Wing Information Department Jammu was Guest of Honour. In addition to symposium a scintillating cultural program was presented by artists of Cultural Unit Jammu which was enjoyed by the audience.

Convener, Dr. Shalni Sharma presented the vote of thanks and also informed the audience in detail regarding the topic. Among others, College staff, students and officials of the Information Department were present on the occasion. 

The program was conducted under the supervision of Cultural Officer, Parul Khajuria.
