Motor Vehicle Department today organized a Road Safety Awareness Program here in the Municipal Community Hall, Bhaderwah to mark Road Safety Week 2023, “Swachhata Pakhwada” being observed from 11th January to 17th January, 2023.
ADC Bhaderwah, Dil Mir Choudary and ASP Bhaderwah, Kameshwar Puri besides Kuldeep Singh, ARTO Doda and Jasbir Singh MVI also participated in the Program.
The ADC and ASP interacted with the drivers/cleaners/public and advised them to stay vigilant that while driving you should as the safety of all the passengers/road users is the prime responsibility of a driver.
They appealed to them to adhere to the traffic rules and regulations to ensure safe, smooth & hassle free traffic movement. They appealed to the public to become good road users.
The ARTO Doda, while interacting with the gathering, advised the people to avoid over-speeding/overloading /use of Intoxicants/use of mobile phones, always wear a seat belt /helmet while driving to avoid any untoward incident.
“To avoid road accidents it is imperative to do the servicing of the vehicles on time and check the vehicle before plying” he said further. The Motor Vehicle Inspector also addressed the gathering.
