In the 73rd Junior Punjab Basketball Championship played here at the basketball court, Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana, Ludhiana Basketball Academy, while maintaining its supremacy, has succeeded in winning both the boys' and girls' titles. 

Ludhiana Police Joint Commissioner Mr Ravcharan Singh Brar distributed the prizes to the winning teams and players.Punjab Basketball Association General Secretary Mr Teja Singh Dhaliwal said that in the boys' category, the team of Ludhiana Basketball Academy won the title by defeating the district Ludhiana team with 65-49 points.  

While Patiala defeated Hoshiarpur with 62-55 points and secured third place.  In the girls' category, the team of Ludhiana Basketball Academy defeated Patiala by 34-17 points and retained the title.  District Ludhiana team won the third position.

Today on this occasion Mr Gurjit Singh Romana retd PPS, Mr JP Singh Retd PCS, Mr Prabhdeep Singh Nathowal DPRO, Mr Balwinder Singh Lyallpuri, Mr Vinod Chopra, Senior Coach Rajinder Singh, Coach Saloni, Coach Narinderpal Sharma, Gurinderjit Singh, Ravinder Singh and others were present.
