Election Department holds training for newly appointed MTS

The Election Department today organized one day training programme for the newly appointed Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) under the supervision of Anil Salgotra, Joint Chief Electoral Officer, who is also holding charge of Chief Electoral Officer J&K.

The program was aimed at to educate the participants about functioning of the department besides acquainting them with their responsibilities during elections and non-election period.

They were briefed about departmental hierarchy, duties and responsibilities, file maintenance, behavioral attitude, cleanliness, handling of IT equipments, conduct of elections, preparation and maintenance of electoral rolls.

These Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) are being posted in different districts for their further duties. The training was imparted by Sandish Gupta, Additional Secretary, Akhter Hussain Nazi, Deputy Director Information, Rohit Kashyap, Assistant CEO  and other officers of the Election Department.
