In continuation to the ongoing Good Governance week under the theme "Prashasan Gaon ki Aur", ACD Doda Phulail Singh JKAS today conducted extensive tour of Tantna and Ludna panchayats of Gundna block.
He listened to the grievances of the locals and inspected the ongoing MGNREGA works and Amritsarovars etc. The ACD also sensitized the locals about Swachata program, enquired about expenditure under Capex and Amritsarovars, PD generation, inspected site for solid waste management, soakage pits, besides resolved the long pending issue of PMAY.
The ACD directed the BDO Gundna to ensure 75% expenditure under Capex and Amritsarovars by December end and mobilise field functionaries and increase the PD generation in the block by generating the demands coming from the job card holders on priority basis.
With regard to the Swachata program, the ACD asked the locals to minimize the use of plastic and polythene to conserve ecological balance of the rural areas.
