DDC Vice Chairperson Juhi Manhas Pathania presides over public Darbar at Nagain Majalta

Vice Chairperson District Development Council Udhampur Juhi Manhas Pathania along with DDC Mandli Neeru Bala chaired the public darbar at Nagain,Chore Panjian Block Khoon. This village is situated on the flank of Udhampur and Kathua districts and people of both areas have been clamouring for Road connectivity from Martian (Kathua) to Nagain (Udhampur).
Both of them called for redressal of problems being faced by the locals of the respective areas. The camp was attended by different departments and district/block heads of the Education Department, Rural Development, Power Development Department (PDD), Public Health Engineering (PHE), PMGSY, Social Welfare, Forest, Health and other departments were also present.
Pathania called for greater coordination between general public and officials of various departments for speedy development of the area and redressal of the public issues.
Earlier, she listened to problems of the people of the area and issued directions for on spot redressal of the problems projected by the people which included the road from Martian to Nagain for which she called upon forest authorities for clearance from their departments so that work for this road can be taken up.
For staff shortage in schools and demand for a sheep husbandry centre was taken up with concerned authorities. On the occasion, Pathania vouched for availability of basic living facilities like water supply, electricity, road connectivity for all.
She called for expediting work in JJM for actualizing ’Har Ghar ko jal’ resolve of central government ‘. While interacting with the people, she said that the whole exercise is in accordance with the party principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas objective”.
Rather it is a sincere attempt to have direct interaction with the masses and provide best possible solutions to their day to day administrative and development issues. She called it a sincere attempt to lessen the gap between administration and people.
We should ensure that genuine issues of people are redressed in an efficacious way. Neeru Bala, DDC Mandli (Kathua) also spoke on the occasion and spelled out various development policies and programmes launched by PM Narendra Modi.
Prominent among those who were present included Surinder Singh Sarpanch C/Panjian, Mohan Lal Mandal Pardhan Khoon, Vishal Singh Mandal Pardhan Mandli, Vipin Sharma Mandal Pardhan Ramkot, Kamla Devi Sarpanch Babey,Ram Das Naib Sarpanch C-Panjian and other PRI members of the area.
