SDM Thathri seals Shop for overcharging on Online Services

Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Thathri, Er. Athar Amin Zargar today sealed a shop in Thathri town for overcharging for online services.The vendor had charged Rs. 600 for applying for 3 Domicile certificates from the applicant.

On receiving the complaint, Naib Tehsildar Thathri, Shambu Nath rushed to spot and on finding the complaint is on merits, the shop was sealed.It is pertinent to mention here that Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Pal Mahajan prescribed the rates for all the online services and has appealed to public, not to pay additional fee to the service provider and report any incident of overcharging to the concerned Tehsildar.

The government notified rates are enclosed in this press release for wider publicity.
