The Department of Music, Padma Shri Padma Sachdev, Government P.G College for Women, Gandhinagar Jammu in collaboration with IQAC organised 'MEHNDI FESTIVAL' in lieu of Karvachauth a traditional Indian festival under the patronage of Principal Prof. Minu Mahajan.

On this occasion she appreciated the students for their keen interest and active participation in the festival.  Students decorated the hands of teachers with beautiful mehandi designs and teachers also participated in the celebrations along with the students.

The event was organized under the convenorship of Dr. Priyanka Sharma Head, Department of Music. The organizing Committee consisted of Prof.Renu Sehgal and Prof.Rahul Kumar.
