Chairman District Development Council Doda, Dhananter Singh Kotwal today distributed 25 maize shellers among the Sarpanches of Kastigarh and Bhagwah blocks here at a function organised by the Agriculture department in the agriculture complex.

It was given out by the official that all these maize shellers are provided to the blocks for community farming on 100% subsidy under UT Capex.The Chairman appreciated the efforts of the Agriculture department for making tireless efforts to ensure the doubling of the farmers income. 

He directed the department to inform the farmers about the numerous schemes envisaged for their welfare and organise  similar programs in other areas of the district having immense agricultural potential.
