Cabinet Minister Aman Arora lays foundation stone of the 'walking track', will be built for about one and a half kilometers along Sirhind Chow

Sunam residents will be able to walk safely in the morning and evening with the construction of a track

Information and Public Relations, Housing and Urban Development and New and Renewable Energy minister of Punjab Aman Arora today laid the foundation stone of a modern walking track to be constructed along Sirhind Chow at Sunam Udham Singh Wala.  

On this occasion, shri Arora said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab S. Bhagwant Mann, action is being implemented in a planned manner to develop multifaceted every city and every village.  

He said that the foundation stone of this track has been laid today to fulfill the long-standing demand of the people of Sunam.He said that city residents walk around the roads in the morning and evening due to which there is a fear of road accidents.

 The cabinet minister said that the length of the walking track to be built at a cost of about 50 lakh rupees will be about one and a half kilometers.  He said that trees will be planted on both sides of the track and the completion of this track within the next few months will bring joy from the walkers.

Cabinet Minister Shri Aman Arora said that the foundation stone of the sports stadium at ITI Sunam was laid by the Chief Minister Shri Bhagwant Mann on July 31 to implement the objective of creating a healthy society and now Sports culture is being created under the Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan to increase interest in sports activities. 

 Shri Arora said that the government is committed to provide pollution free and safe environment to the people and no stone will be left unturned to develop the Sunam city.

 On this occasion, President Municipal Council Nishan Singh Tony, SDM Jaspreet Singh, EO Amritpal and other leaders and officials were also present.
